Tillamook Sets Sail On Morning Star To Salute Brand's History

Leo Burnett Chicago has produced a new campaign for Tillamook Country Creamery Association, drawing on the brand's 116-year history.

There are seven spots, a 30-second, three 16-second and three 6-second ads. The media runs a cross premium streaming platforms, social media and digital. All the campaign spots are live on Tillamook's YouTube channel.

The work tells the company's Oregon story, while noting the various products — ice cream to cheese — it produces.

The latest creative capitalizes on the “Extraordinary Dairy” brand platform introduced last May.

The brand’s dairy boat, the Morning Star, started delivering dairy products to the Pacific Northwest in 1909. The Morning Star, showcased in the current creative, provides an ongoing link to Tillamook's mission.

“Through this new work, we’ve crafted a tale that connects the brand’s past with its present,” said Sarah Block, executive vice president-creative director at Leo Chicago. The Morning Star is more than an origin story for Tillamook. It is core to their DNA to do whatever it takes to deliver extraordinary dairy.”

Leo Burnett Chicago is owned by Publicis Groupe.
