One wine brand is celebrating its intersection with sports and art with a new collection of artist-designed labels for its wines.
The official wine partner of the NBA since April 2024, Kendall-Jackson Wines announced its new collection featuring co-branded labels by artist and designer Victor Solomon.
Solomon, who also designed the NBA's Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy, created the labels by integrating a background basketball motif in gold with the NBA logo also in gold above the wine details.
The co-branded wines include a Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon, a Monterey County Chardonnay and the upcoming Lake County Sauvignon Blanc, to be available in August.
Kendall-Jackson is promoting the collaborative wines online as well as in-store and on its social media channels.
"This partnership is a natural fit as we expand our relationship with the league and continue to explore unique ways to engage our audiences,” said Chris Jackson, co-proprietor of the family-owned Kendall-Jackson, in the announcement.

The brand is rolling out the new wines and labels during NBA All-Star Weekend in San Francisco, Feb. 14 through 16 -- specifically during the NBA Crossover, a multiday fan fest.
Solomon’s art is well known throughout the sports world, often “blending traditional artistry with modern inspirations,” per the release. His work includes the "Literally Balling" art series, which reimagines basketball with stained glass. Solomon also crafted a Swarovski crystal basketball installation for the NBA's 75th Anniversary celebration, as well as the “Journey" sculpture series, which explores the evolution of the basketball through various materials.
