While internet users were divided on whether they liked or hated Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime show, United Airlines had some fun with it in a post that has gone viral.
“Lamar performed with a large group of backup dancers, featuring brief appearances by actor Samuel L. Jackson, R&B singer SZA, and even legendary tennis star Serena Williams,” according to Athlon Sports.
The moment with Williams was seen by some as a subtle jab at rapper Drake, who previously dated Williams.
“There were a number of cinematic moments as rap superstar Kendrick Lamar was on stage for his halftime show,” according to The Spun. “One of the most memorable was him walking in a circle staring into the camera as his background dancers continued performing behind him.”

Despite the drama surrounding the performance, United Airlines lightened the mood with a humorous take on the performance.
“United Airlines' reposted a clip from the NFL to X of Lamar singing Not Like Us while walking in a circle,” according to Newsweek. “The company captioned it: ‘My bag watching me follow it around the carousel.’”
Social media users “were brought to hysterics” over United's post, according to the Daily Mail.
The comments on the tweet were far more positive than the posts about Lamar’s performance.
“Give the social media manager a raise,” according to a commenter. “I’ll be flying United on my next trip just for this absolute gem” and “Never thought I'd follow an airline but here I go” were two more of the many.
The post so far has logged more than 11.2 million views, with 91,000 likes, over 10,000 shares and over 600 comments.
Even McDonald's got in on the commenting: "Seriously i can never catch up." The QSR's note had over 75,000 views and 1,400 likes. "Our fave sport," United responded, according to Newsweek.
