Valentine’s Day is often one of the more expensive holidays, with the price of dinner, gifts, outfits, etc. costing as much as a car payment -- or two. Per a recent study by restaurant tech company Snappy, 72% of people expect to spend more this Valentine's Day than they did in 2024.

For consumers whose aim is not to break the bank, many QSRs and fast-casual restaurants have some sort of freebie, BOGO, discount or promotion for the Hallmark Holiday of Love. And many of the deals extend beyond the holiday, with some benefiting more than customers with related charity efforts. Here are just a few.

Burger King’s Royal Perks members can receive BOGO on their Whopper purchase on Feb. 14 in the BK App and on bk.com.

Chipotle will offer a BOGO burritos deal on Feb. 14 with an order of $20 or more through Grubhub.

Cinnabon is offering a Valentine’s Day-themed CinnaPack, which is 20% off for Rewards members from Feb. 10 through Feb. 14. Rewards members will also receive a $5 gift card with the purchase of a $25 card through Feb. 28.

Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has a BOGO promotion from Feb. 14 through Feb. 16. Loyalty members will receive on free drink with purchase from 12-6 PM.

Dutch Bros has two new beverages for V-Day: the Chocolate Covered Strawberry Mocha and the Strawberries & Cream Rebel. On Feb. 14, all 950 Dutch Bros locations will donate $1 from every and any drink sold to local charities such as the Houston Food Bank, Feeding San Diego, and the Southern Arizona Network for Down Syndrome, among others.

Peter Piper Pizza has brought back its heart-shaped pizza fundraising promo for the second year. The chain will donate  $1 from every heart-shaped pizza sold through Feb. 28 to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals across Arizona, California, New Mexico and Texas.

QDOBA Rewards’ members can receive a free entrée with the purchase of an entrée and drink on Feb. 14.

McAlister’s Deli is giving its rewards member a BOGO 50% off select entrées offer from Feb. 14 through Feb. 16.

Moe’s Southwest Grill is rewarding loyalty members with a BOGO offer on select entrees at participating locations through Feb. 16.

Red Robin is offering a “Lovebird Combo” for two for $34.99 from Feb. 13-16. The deal includes two select Gourmet Burgers, two bottomless sides and a Lemon Cream Layer Cake.

Even more incentive to spend Valentine’s at Red Robin: Any couple who “pops the question” in the restaurant on Feb. 14 will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a diamond engagement ring of their choice, valued up to $10,000. Entrants must post their proposal Feb. 13 through Feb. 19 on the restaurant website.

Shake Shack is offering a free SmokeShack burger for “anyone in love (or out of love, with a strong friend network)” ordering through the app using code BEMINE through Feb 17.

Subway customers can enter promo code FLBOGO to receive two footlongs for the price of one online or through the Subway app.
