Propel Debuts An AI-Driven Media Platform

Journalists could soon be receiving more targeted PR pitches.

Propel, a firm specializing in AI-powered public-relations technology, has introduced an AI-driven media database that it contends will replace static, outdated media lists.  

The new platform updates journalist engagement data to make sure pitches hit at the right time, the company claims. The platform also integrates media outreach, CRM and analytics to provide a complete PR workflow, Propel adds.

The company says its new platform can lead to 20% more media placements and twice the normal response rate of traditional databases at lower cost, but these claims could not be independently corroborated.
