One 50 year-old beer brand is celebrating its golden anniversary with some familiar faces (and voices).

Miller Light, founded in 1975, is celebrating its 50 year milestone with a new creative campaign, “Legendary Stories start with a Lite,” featuring the unmistakable voiceover of actor Christopher Walken.

The center of the campaign is :30 national TV spot, seen here, that cycles through vintage still photos, some from Miller Lite’s archives, of fans and celebrities commemorating many of life’s milestones, or just a regular Saturday night, with Miller Light. Images of wedding toasts, dance clubs, parties and other gatherings with friends are shown, against the soundtrack of David Bowie’s classic “Rebel Rebel.”

Walken notes, “If this can could talk, it would tell stories, about that one time, that night, that one guy, that one gal, writing a story that is 50 years long.. and 50 million friends wide.”

Sports legends, including John Madden, Dick Butkus and Bob Uecker, can be seen in pics, and, per the brand, all images in the commercial are “authentic, genuine images captured over the last 50 years.”

“Miller Lite has truly been a story in the making for 50 years,” Miller Lite Vice President of Marketing Ann Legan said in the announcement. “We wanted to celebrate the people who put the brand on the map and made it famous – our drinkers. If you’ve had a Miller Lite, you probably have a story worth telling.”

The spot premiered during the first round of the March Madness men’s college basketball tournament. It will continue to air across all networks, as well as streaming video, with a Spanish language version set to air later this month.

To continue the 50th birthday celebrations, the brand has a “robust collection of plans, including limited-time packaging, merch, additional creative spots, celebrity partners and more,” according to the announcement.
