City Cruises is making its big-league debut this season.

The Hornblower Group-owned sightseeing and dining cruise brand is teaming up with five MLB clubs in its first pro sports partnership.: the Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, New York Yankees, San Diego Padres, and Washington Nationals. City Cruises operates out of existing port locations for each city.

The deal includes City Cruises sponsoring all five teams, as well as expanding its marketing activations with the MLB. That component includes a digital marketing agreement with MLB.com, an extensive national and local awareness campaign, in-stadium OOH advertising, on-site event marketing activations for MLB games highlighting City Cruises at all five MLB ballparks for the partnership teams, and co-branded crossover promotions with the league.

"This partnership is a game-changer for City Cruises, creating an unprecedented opportunity for us to partner with five Major League Baseball clubs and connect with the millions of fans that engage digitally and enter the ballpark each year to cheer on these five teams," Hornblower Group CEO Mike Flaskey said in a statement.

The announcement arrives ahead of MLB’s Opening Day on March 27, and follows City Cruises’ launch earlier this month of its "City Cruises Live" series of entertainment events, with performances by musical artists, dining experiences by celebrity chefs, appearances by sports legends, and other celebrities and entertainers. This year’s “City Cruises Live” lineup will feature baseball-themed dining and sightseeing cruises for each of its partner teams.

City Cruises promoted the new sponsorships with a post on its Instagram page celebrating its partnership with the five teams, as well as posts for individual partnerships.
