'Look' Here: Pinterest Touts Visual Search As Key To Personal Style

Identity is personal. So is style.

Pinterest has just launched its latest campaign, comprised of two spots — "Find the Look" and "Beauty" — to help users zero in on both.

The work is by the social network's in-house agency House of Creative, directed by Alaska. The campaign was shot in São Paulo, Brazil. It illustrates how visual searches help users define their singular style.

The tag: "It's Possible."

“We’ve all had those moments where we know the vibe we’re after, but not the words to describe it,” said Xanthe Wells, vice president, global creative, Pinterest. “That’s where Pinterest’s visual search comes in. It lets people zero in on the pieces they love, learn even more about them and build something personal from there.”

With visual search, users can start with an image instead of text. The spots show how the brand's tools make it easier to discover styles, such as collegiate prep, moto boho or stereopunk. The enhanced features let users tap on an outfit to find similar items or ideas.

Pinterest says half a billion users worldwide visit the site monthly.
