Stagwell media agency Assembly has appointed industry veteran Jason Lim chief media officer-North America. The role is new and Lim will report to Jill Kelly, who joined Assembly in NA CEO in January.  

Lim will lead a team of 350+ staffers across Search, Social, Programmatic, Video, SEO, Affiliate, CRM, OOH, Print, and more, overseeing the management of media planning and investments across all channels and platforms.  

Lim brings more than 20 years of agency leadership experience to the position, most recently serving as chief planning officer at GroupM’s EssenceMediacom. Prior to the merger of Essence and Mediacom in 2023, Lim served as chief planning officer at Mediacom for nearly 13 years.  

The appointment follows last month’s news that Assembly won the global Hyatt media account.
