Amazon Pet Day is a back for its fourth year on May 13 and 14, and it's bigger than ever. 

Consumers can score deals on products from brands including Purina Pro Plan, Iams, Hill’s Science Diet and BarkBox.

“If you need to stock up on pet supplies like treats and toys, or if you're in the market for bigger-ticket items like a self-cleaning litter box or a grooming vacuum, now is the time to buy,” according to MarthaStewart.com. “The two-day sale features everything you need for your furry friends, including pet food and treats, toys, apparel, health care products, grooming supplies, litter and odor products, electronics, cleaners and habitats.”

Over 82 million households in the U.S. own a pet, and total U.S. pet industry expenditures are expected to top $157 billion in 2025, according to the most recent American Pet Products Association National Pet Owners Survey.

Amazon sale days just keep expanding.

“In the great tradition of Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Amazon Prime Day, Amazon has expanded these savings extravaganzas to the pet tech sphere,” according to Wired.com, which lists a variety of litter robots among the best deals. 

The 48-hour sale is essentially Prime Day for pet owners.

“Last year, we saw a spectrum of offers from brands like Furbo, Outward Hound and Bissell,” notes Forbes. “And, unlike Prime Day, Pet Day is open to all Amazon shoppers—not just Prime members.”

Some pet products have already been marked down ahead of the actual sale. 

“We're already seeing savings of up to 59% off everyday essentials like food and toys, and pet cameras that will give you peace of mind when you aren't at home,” according to Angel Madison at Country Living. “I personally love the PetCube Bites 2 Lite for dogs and cats, because not only can you keep a watchful eye on your fur babies from afar, you can also dispense a little snack. My teen is at college and she uses this daily to see and talk to her cat, and the treats incentivize him to get off his cozy couch spot.”
