Omnicom has been named the "Most Effective Holding Group" of the year for the second year in a row, according to the just-released 2024 Effie Index.
The index, which is bestowed by advertising effectiveness awards organization Effie Worldwide, also named AB InBev the most effective marketer (for the fourth consecutive year) and McDonald's the most effective brand of the year.
WPP's Ogilvy was named the most effective agency network, while Omnicom's ALMAP BBDO was named the most effective agency office.
The most effective independent agency was fledgling, New York-based Mischief.
"As technology advances and consumer expectations shift, what it means to be effective in our industry keeps changing. Being recognized at the top of the Effie Index repeatedly shows how our people and agencies are staying ahead of the curve," Omnicom Chairman-CEO John Wren stated.
