Pluto TV is promoting its “Summer of Cinema”campaign on linear, CTV, streaming audio, traditional radio, OOH, MLB integrations and social.
Directed by
Timothy Kendall, the spot as created in-house.
The streamer features hundreds of fan-favorite films and franchises, including "Indiana Jones," "Mission: Impossible," "Terminator, "Star
Trek" and "Wolf of Wall Street"across the free service.
The campaign kicked off in L.A. last weekend with Pluto’s Popcorn Challenge, a giant popcorn box filled with flying
popcorn. Anyone at the Westfield Century City mall could step into the box and was given 20 seconds to catch as much popcorn as possible to win prizes.
Pluto TV, a Paramount Company, also
announced it has launched a free ad-supported AWSN channel dedicated to more than 2,500 hours of live women's sports annually in the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and the Nordics. The channel is co-founded
by Whoopi Goldberg and Jungo TV.
Goldberg stated: "For far too long, incredible women athletes have been competing at the highest levels without the recognition they deserve. AWSN is here to
change that."
