French-fry fanatics are in for even more deals than last year as National French Fry Day arrives at fast-food restaurants July 11. And considering the average American now ingests an estimated 30 pounds of French fries a year per a recent Cargill report, the “holiday” should only be gaining in popularity. The call of Free Fry Day reigns at the following QSRs:
Burger King’s Royal Perks members can get one free order of any size fries with a $1 or more purchase starting July 11, and then every Friday for the rest of the year.
Checkers & Rally’s customers can "upgrade" their fries from competing chains for free on July 11. By bringing a recent receipt from any competitor reflecting a previous French fry purchase to a Checkers & Rally’s location, customers will receive a free order of large, seasoned fries.
