
Marketers are being offered a
way to archive email, SMS, voice, chat and other communications in one location.
Intermedia Cloud Communications has added Microsoft 365 email to its Intelligent Archiving tool.
It is now available in beta for Intermedia’s partner network.
"Business communications span multiple channels—email, voice, chat, and video," says Irina Shamkova, chief
product officer at Intermedia. "With the addition of Archiving for Microsoft 365 email, we're further strengthening our ability to help businesses retain and protect their communications data across
all major channels.”
Users can archive Microsoft 365 email next to Teams chats and meetings, Unite calls, Contact Center voice, chat and SMS.
The company notes that regulatory
pressure is rising. The new solution is designed to:
- Support compliance with policy-based retention, tamper-proof storage, and role-based access controls
- Protect
sensitive business communications across voice, video, chat, and email – all in one place
- Enable AI-powered decision-making by feeding structured and unified data into AI and
analytics tools

The new platform “positions our customers to unlock the potential of AI—enabling more intelligent search, process automation, and productivity-driving
insights," Shamkova adds.
The application is integrated, with no patchwork required. Archiving can be achieved through an owned cloud platform.
In addition, data is
searchable and can be analyzed for trends, compliance signals and operational insights, the company claims.
It also argues that sensitive data can be safeguarded through encryption,
single-sign-on and role-based controls.
