
VML has appointed Alan Davies as global
consulting lead and Tom Johnson as EVP, consulting growth and strategy.
The hires expand the WPP agency's consulting expertise across its global network, which includes The Cocktail, Velvet
and Berlin Cameron.
Davies joins from WPP, where he was head of client business transformation. He also spent 18 years at Digitas as chief strategy officer. His track record in user
experience, ecommerce and integrated marketing is an asset for the agency. Davies' remit is leading VML Consulting’s global strategy and to drive innovation.

Johnson, appointed by Davies, joins VML from the Mindshare team at WPP Media, where he was global chief solutions officer. He brings extensive experience in integrated
