Academy Moves Forward With Lee, Wolski-David

Toronto-based agency Academy has added to its staff, naming Susie Lee executive creative director and Theo Wolski-David, vice president, client services.

Most recently, Lee was ECD at Sid Lee. Her account experience includes Apple, Visa, Nissan, Kraft, Dove and Tim Hortons.

Wolski-Davis recently led the in-house agency at financial-services company Manulife and was previously group account director at McCann Canada. Over her 15-year agency career, she’s led teams on the McDonald's, Wendy's, KIND Snacks and Nestlé accounts.

“As we head into a new growth phase, it is important to us to bring in exactly the right people,” said Academy president Rebecca Ho. “Susie Lee, ECD, and Theo Wolski- David, vice president, client services, alongside Megan Leahy, our EVP of partnerships, give us the seasoned executive team to carry Academy forward, spearhead our growth and steward our clients.”

Other additions to the Academy team include Andy Garcia, creative director, Isabella Wardrop, account director and Nadine Farhat as senior integrated producer.

The agency recently launched Porter’s The Little Things Blind Boxes, as part of the airline’s 20th birthday campaign. Other recent campaigns include a Gen Z-focused push for Wattpad, as well as work for Healthy Planet and the 50th anniversary of the Writers Trust of Canada.

Academy’s client roster includes MilkUP, a daughter brand of Dairy Farmers of Ontario, Rakuten Kobo and Almave, a non-alcoholic tequila alternative co-founded by F1 driver Lewis Hamilton.
