Inbox Sleuth: AI Is Being Used For Email Deliverability

Artificial intelligence (AI) which has been used to write emails, is now being applied to email deliverability. 

MailGenius, an email deliverability platform, has launched a feature called AI Email Grader & Editor, which it says can diagnose deliverability issues.

The AI technology is trained on over $250 million in sales data and high-performing campaigns, the company adds. 

“This isn’t just about inbox placement anymore,” said Troy Ericson, CEO of MailGenius. “This AI has been trained on years of high-converting email data, cold emails, sales sequences, newsletters, and follow-ups, and it knows exactly how to turn a good email into a revenue-driving one.”

Designed to get emails into the inbox and not the spam folder, the new offering provides:

  • A 1–10 Email Grade, which scores emails on deliverability and conversion potential.
  • Problem Diagnosis provides insights into what is harming email performance.
  • AI Rewrite: A complete rewrite powered by conversion data and established copywriting principles.

Ericson claims that AI Email Grader & Editor can lead to “more opens, more clicks, more bookings, and more sales.”

It can diagnose technical deliverability issues and persuasive copywriting gaps, the firm says, and is designed for cold outreach campaigns, sales and promotional messages, newsletter content, automated follow-ups, and one-to-one emails, it adds.
