Late last year Havas Group appointed Provit Chemmani CEO Africa. Now the firm has appointed Alberto Canteli to the new post of executive chairman Africa.  

Chemmani, who joined Havas in 2021 and who was previously global managing director, e-commerce & paid media, will report to Canteli. 

Canteli, a 25-year Havas veteran, is retaining his current responsibilities as chairman and CEO of Havas Nordics, Benelux, Central & Eastern Europe and the Middle East.  

“This new leadership structure is designed to bring renewed energy to Havas’ operations and position Africa as a strategic growth driver for the group’s global ambitions,” the firm stated.
