Hyatt's Inclusive Collection Promises 'Time Here Is Worth More'

Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection launched what the brand is referring to as its “first 360-degree brand campaign.” And it’s about time — more specifically, how Hyatt’s brand portfolio of all-inclusive resorts resorts help visitors make the most of it.

A campaign hero video focuses on making the most of time with those you care about while on vacation, and introduces the new “Time Here Is Worth More” tagline and brand platform. The spot also highlights the brand portfolio’s range of resorts appealing to different types of travelers, from family-friendly  to adults-only resorts.

The brand told Marketing Daily the new campaign was based on insights derived from its recently published “Time Rich Report,” a national consumer survey of 2,000 U.S. adults conducted online, in collaboration with Wakefield Research.

According to the report, 82% of Americans say they don’t get enough time with those who matter most to them. Sixty-two percent said they consider travel to be “quality time, while 77% of parents said their happiest family memories were tied to a trip together. Nearly a third of couples (31%) said they don’t get enough time together, while 84% reported time away together having a positive effect on their relationship, even after returning from a vacation.

“For the travel industry, these findings suggest the need for a strong focus on creating strategies and delivering services that maximize quality time and reduce planning headaches and distractions for guests, all while allowing connections and personal time to flourish,” Ana Tomicevic, vice president, global brand leader for Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection, said in a statement.

“This approach is already central to Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection and our more than 140 all-inclusive resorts, and we will be amplifying our mission with new programs and an exciting partnership with global mindfulness pioneerDeepak Chopra, M.D.,” she added.

Chopra, who is a member of the brand’s newly created Wellbeing Collective Advisory Board, helped develop a “Mindful Matters” series to help guests “feel grounded and reflective during their stay."  An  alternative medicine advocate, Chopra has also been criticized for what some say are pseudoscientific claims about the ability to “stop” or “reverse” human aging.
