News/Media Alliance CEO Named One Of Most Powerful Women In Washington

Danielle Coffey, president and CEO of the News/Media Alliance, has been named to Washingtonian magazine’s Most Powerful Women in Washington.

Coffey is listed in Lobbying, Advocacy, and Think Tanks on the Washingtonian website and in the print edition of the October 2025 issue of Washingtonian magazine.

To compile the list of 250 women, Washingtonian “read, researched, and reached out to people in the know across the DC area, from business to media to politics, and asked for names of women in their particular field of expertise or beyond whom they considered powerful. Who is making things happen and having an impact? Who gets her calls (or texts or emails) returned immediately? Who is leading the way in her field? Who has senators on speed dial—and vice versa?”

The News/Media Alliance represents 2,200 U.S. publishers nationwide.
