
Harry Potter has been a
global phenomenon since its release in 1997. Since then, there have been more books, plays, movies and an upcoming HBO series hits the small screen in 2027.
Audible did the original audio
books for the J.K. Rowling saga — and now, new audio releases debut today. The first audiobook, “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” will be followed with monthly worldwide
releases of the remaining six English-language novels.
To showcase the new audiobooks, which add sound design in Dolby Atmos, Audible has orchestrated an enchanted cross-platform
campaign for Harry Potter: The Full-Cast Audio Editions, co-produced by Pottermore Publishing and Audible.
The creative was done in-house by Audible, with cover art design by
Lindemann & Associates and additional creative production from Trollback + Company and Versus.

Highlights include a revamped Audible logo on app and site Nov. 4-7 to incorporate some Harry Potter
magic. Commuters in New York City, Toronto and Sydney can imagine they are boarding the Hogwarts Express, with designed subway cars and a one-of-a-kind vintage steam train journey in Sydney.
In addition, two venues in England — London's Outernet and Manchester Printworks — along with Australia's Melbourne Central will feature audio-visual installations and vignettes
from the new editions. Also in the U.K., an augmented reality feature embedded in Metro, a popular weekday print newspaper, will offer an interactive Harry Potter audio journal
with exclusive clips. ITV's This Morning will bring the famed Privet Drive letter scene to life.
Forbidden Forest experiences are live in Chicago and Vancouver, listening spaces
tucked inside glowing trees, where visitors can watch key scenes from the series.
At Newark and Toronto airports, listening libraries with iPad stations invite travelers to enjoy
sample scenes from the Harry Potter series while awaiting their flights.
The initial campaign elements are up till year's-end. Additional work to support the other six books
runs throughout 2026.
Fans will recognize many of the actors voicing the Potter characters, such as Huge Laurie as Professor Dumbledore, Saoirse-Monica Jackson ("Derry
Girls") as Professor Trelawney, Bill Nighy as Professor Slughorn, Matthew Macfadyen as Lord Voldemort, Keira Knightley as Professor Umbridge and Ruth Wilson as Bellatrix
Lestrange. Rising stars Frankie Treadaway, Max Lester and Arabella Stanton portray Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, respectively, in audiobooks one, two and three.
