YouTube TV's Sports Bundle To Include ESPN, NBC, FS1, Golf Channel

As the dominant TV distributor in the U.S., YouTube TV is planning to launch 10 new, genre-specific TV bundles -- including a sports package with access to ESPN, Fox Sports 1, NBC Sports, and the Golf Channel.

Early next year YouTube TV will introduce a new way for sports fans to pay for unlimited access to sports-only television content from major broadcasters.

The bundle will also feature FS1 coverage, known for airing UFC fights, NASCAR events and soccer games, as well as NBC Sports, which notably will provide access to the Olympics.

Alongside these primary cable sports broadcasters will also be the Golf Channel, giving bundle subscribers coverage of the PGA Tour through 2030, as well as LPGA circuits and other golf-centric programming. Combined with ESPN Unlimited, subscribers will also be able to see TGL and extra Masters coverage.

YouTube TV's upcoming sports package is expected to cost less than the internet-delivered TV provider's current full plan, which is priced at $82 per month.

For an extra fee, subscribers to the sports bundle can add on NFL Sunday Ticket, RedZone, and other extra sports coverage options.

YouTube has yet to release any specific pricing information with regard to its upcoming genre-broadcast bundles, nor has it named an exact release date.
