Agency group Mindgruve has tapped Amazon veteran Spencer Lian-Thompson for the new role of vice president-growth and
partnerships.
Lian-Thornton will focus on forging relationships with major retail media networks and technology partners, expanding the
agency’s enterprise client roster, and strengthening client loyalty and retention.

He joins Mindgruve after 12 years at Amazon, where he helped build and scale
retail, advertising, and supply chain strategies for global brands including Wrangler, Hanes, New Balance, and The Children’s Place.
Earlier he served as a senior merchandise business
analyst at Target.
In June, Mindgruve merged with performance marketing agency Levelwing. That announcement
followed Mindgruve’s mergers in 2024 with Macarta and Icon Commerce.
Mindgruve now has a team of over 400 employees across eight U.S., Latin American and
European offices.
