Small batch tequila maker
Teremana has teamed up with a restaurant popular with football fans for the 60th anniversary of the Super Bowl.
The celebrity tequila (founded by Dwanyne The Rock Johnson) has
joined Wingstop in a new promotion for chicken wing and margarita pairings, “because while sports allegiances may be split, a love of wings and margaritas is universal.”
Now
through Feb. 8 (Super Bowl game day), customers can try the “Fans of Flavor” pairing generator, seen here, which asks
users their preferred wing flavor (spicy, citrus, smokey, tangy or exotic), followed by tequila profile (fresh, smooth, bright, complex or oaky) and spice level (mild, medium, spicy, hot atomic) to
determine the best paring. The generator will then show what Wingstop flavors go with what margarita and what tequila variety it contains, Blanco, Reposado or Añejo, along with the
cocktail’s recipe.

“The best game day moments don't happen by accident, they come from good energy, great flavor, and the people you share them with,” said Teremana CEO,
Richard Black, in a statement. “This partnership is about playing with pairings, leaning into bold taste, and turning wings and margaritas into a reason to come together, no matter who you're
rooting for.”
Sample pairings include Wingstop's Original Hot wings with Teremana's People's Margarita, Spicy Korean Q wings with a Spicy Margarita, and Garlic Parmesan wings paired with
a Strawberry Margarita.
The brands have also come together for a nationwide sweepstakes, with the grand prize a fully stocked game day at home. The Ultimate Game Day Flavor Fest includes
Wingstop gift cards, funds for game day drinks, a 75" TV and support for a private bartender and party essentials. Additional winners will receive Teremana drink cash prizes and Wingstop gift
cards.
Both Teremana and Wingstop are promoting the collaboration via their social media platforms @wingstop and @teremana.
