U.K. creative
communications agency Bray Leino named Wayne Deakin to chief creative officer, a newly created role.
He will oversee creative across Bray Leino, as well as krow and Story, focused on
FMCG, automotive, financial services, healthcare and B2B. Clients include Thatchers Cider, Cummins, MFL Direct, TePe, Novo Nordisk and Covonia.
Deakin reports to Kate Cox, CEO.
Before
his appointment, he held senior creative leadership roles at Jung von Matt, Jam, Engine Group, AKQA, Huge and Wolff Olins, where he was global principal and global ECD leading teams across London, New
York, San Francisco and LA.
Most recently, he ran Studio Deakin, working directly with UK and international C-suite brand leaders. His brand work includes Google, Nike, Apple, Chanel,
LVMH, Uber and Mercedes F1.
“What excites me about this opportunity is that it sits at a real inflection point. The agency has that rare, restless and positive independence and agility
modern clients need. There is a genuine gap in the market for a partner that doesn’t just talk about integration, but lives it,” said Deakin.
