The American Prospect, which runs an online daily and a bimonthly print magazine, has removed all programmatic advertising from its site, it
reports. “We think you and your personal data deserve more respect than we were providing,” the Prospect says in an
article. It adds that the damage from programmatic advertising is real and visible.
Ads slow the site down, cause security vulnerabilities for the publication's readers, and interrupt the process of
