Grey Goose has tapped an Oscar-winning
actress along with the inventor of the viral “cronut” to promote the brand’s latest Berry Rouge variety.
Zoe Saldaña, who won the Oscar last year for “Emilia
Pérez,” stars in the vodka brand’s new series of short films promoting its latest berry-infused offering.
The films, created with BBH USA and running across the
brand’s socials, are set on a stunning rooftop bar/restaurant, where Saldaña is seen joyfully sipping the new Rouge Royale cocktail made with Grey Goose Berry Rouge vodka.
One film, seen here, shows Saldaña playfully “rehearsing” her lines from a script, repeatedly reciting “berry
season” with various different tones and emphasis. The film ends with Saldaña raising a glass filled with a sparkling Rouge Royale.

The brand has also tapped James-Beard
Award-winning French pastry chef Dominique Ansel, known as the creator of the hugely popular croissant and donut hybrid “cronut,” for “The Grey Goose Berry Rouge
Pâtisserie.” The Pâtisserie, a one-day takeover of a New York City bakery on the first Friday in June, will host invited guests in a “berry-infused space where the Berry Rouge
flavor profile is reimagined through bespoke confections created by Ansel.”
The menu includes a Pavlova and a Berry Rouge Ice Cream Sandwich as well as a Berry-Rouge-infused twist on the
cronut. A selection of the new confections will later be available at the Dominique Ansel Bakery in New York City for six weeks, with special availability on summer Fridays.
“Berry is
one of the most exciting and on-trend cocktail flavors right now, and we wanted to deliver it in a way that feels elevated, distinctive, and, above all, delicious,” said Aleco Azqueta, vice
president of global marketing at Grey Goose, in a release.
Grey Goose is also working with global DJ and producer Andre Power to create a curated soundtrack to accompany the
Pâtisserie experience. A line of limited edition branded merch will also be available at the pop-up shop.
