As part of Burger King’s ongoing brand transformation, the
chain is rolling out a two new initiatives that focus on customer satisfaction.
The new initiatives are a result of comments gathered from the brand’s recent “Listening
Initiative,” which solicited consumer feedback by giving out Burger King President Tom Curtis' phone number to the public.
The Your Way Champion is a new in-store position described by
the brand as “a reimagined restaurant manager role designed to empower restaurant leaders and put the guest experience first.” The role was inspired by customer feedback that asked for
“someone in the restaurant who could quickly make things right when needed.”
Burger King is training existing employees to fill the Your Way Champion position at each location, who
will be outfitted in a “clearly identifiable” uniform and tasked with welcoming customers and ensuring order accuracy.

“When we asked guests where we could do better, they
gave us a lot of honest feedback, and now it's our responsibility to act on it,” said Curtis in a release. "When guests choose us, they expect high-quality food, orders made the way they asked,
and a team that's there when they need us. That's what these changes are about. We're raising the standard in our restaurants, so every guest feels like they made the right choice.”
The
brand is also rolling out a new “Whopper Guarantee,” which ensures that each Whopper meets customer expectations. And if it doesn’t, the chain will remake it on the spot, as well as
give customers their next Whopper for free. The chain has refreshed Whopper boxes to include a QR code unsatisfied customers can scan to receive a six-digit code good for a free classic Whopper on
their next visit.
