Stagwell Survey Shows That 25% Of Consumers Are 'News Fanatics'

A full quarter of Americans qualify as “news fanatics, according to Stagwell’s Future of News study, Barrett Media reports. This means they check the news more than five times per day. And 78% of these "fanatics" believe companies should advertise on news media, while 74% have a positive impression of those that do. The results show that news audiences remain valuable even as media habits shift.
