WPP is selling off non-core assets that will generate around 200 million GBP
($270 million) for the company this year, CEO Cindy Rose disclosed during an earnings call earlier today. Additional asset sales are expected next year.
The sell-off is part of a
three year turn-around plan that the company launched at the beginning of 2026.

Rose cited one example: the sale of Kantar Xtel, a global software-as-a-service platform for consumer goods
companies. WPP remains a 40% owner of Kantar and the Extel sale generated over 100 million GBP ($135 million) in value for the firm.
Smaller agencies and stakes in associate companies
are also being evaluated for sale.
The proceeds will be reinvested in assets for the company, Rose said.
