'The Saturday Evening Post' Is Halting Its Print Edition

The Saturday Evening Post’s January issue will be its last in print, The New York Times reports. Joan SerVaas, president and publisher of the Post, announced the turn from print in a letter to the magazine's 50,000 subscribers in the latest issue, blaming it on “rising production costs, declining advertising revenue and shifting reader habits.” The Post will continue to publish new fiction and non-fiction online, and will maintain its archive.
