Companies specializing in email are rushing to integrate their products with AI assistants. For instance, Constant Contact, an AI-powered marketing firm serving small businesses and nonprofits, has
launched a connector in Anthropic’s AI assistant Claude, giving clients a faster way to build email campaigns and social posts using conversational AI, it says.
Brands create a
“complete campaign without ever leaving a conversation they're already having, then send it through Constant Contact,” says Lee Ott, head of product & AI at Constant Contact.
Constant Contact clients who already work in Claude can get a finished email or social draft back by describing their business, audience and goal, the company promises. Claude will hand the draft
to Constant Contact after one click, and the brand can then finalize and send the email.
According to Constant Contact, the Claude connector allows clients to:
- Build
an email or social post from a Claude conversation.
- Get suggestions from Claude for Claude subject lines, preheader text, captions, and calls to action.
- Upload images from Claude into Constant Contact.
- Send and publish with one click.
- Get a link back into Constant Contact to add a
list, finalize the email and send.

“We handle the deliverability, reporting and results," Ott says.
Constant Contact isn’t the only email vendor (most
don’t want to be called that anymore) moving in this direction. Omnisend now allows clients to create campaigns directly within OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Claude.
Movable Ink has
debuted Programmatic CRM, a set of agentic capabilities it says will help deliver personalized experiences in real time via email, mobile and the web. And AWebert has launched what it calls its AI
Landing Page Builder.
Now small businesses are offered AI solutions by Constant Contact.
“Small businesses don't work in just one place, and their tools shouldn't ask them
to," Ott says.
