Svedka Vodka Water Launches Clear Clothes Inspired By Stadium Rules

Svedka Vodka Water’s latest swag drop takes a stadium requirement and turns it into an entire fashion collection.

The RTD vodka, which is served in a clear can, has created the Svedka Vodka Water Clearest Gameday Collection, a limited edition line of see-through sportswear designed for games, tailgates and home watch parties.

The new collection is Svedka’s spin on stadium clear-bag policies. The requirement, which mandates that attendees carry only transparent bags into venues, began in 2013 with the NFL’s “All Clear” bag policy. It has since become the industry standard for major events across the U.S.

Each piece of the collection is “inspired” by a different Svedka Vodka Water flavor. There’s an oversized strawberry transparent #90 jersey (a nod to the beverage’s 90 calories ) for $4, a pineapple inflatable tailgate chair and ottoman with built-in drink holders for $18.99, and a clear lime-inspired full suit with a chest pocket can holder for $90. The highlight of the collection is a transparent peach vest, which has a spout to fill it with a beverage and a built-in straw with which to drink, for $8.

“Game-day style has become a big part of football season, and we wanted to have some fun with something already important to fans and stadium-goers,” said David Binder, senior brand director at Svedka, in a release. “The collection takes the transparency that makes Svedka Vodka Water stand out and brings it to life in a way that is playful, fashionably functional and football-ready.”

The brand partnered with model and fashion influencer Sophia Culpo to launch the collection this past weekend at the San Francisco 49ers game, where she donned the transparent football jersey.

The collection is available online beginning Oct. 9.
