Gerhart succeeds Jane Geraghty, who earlier this year was appointed
Global Chief Executive Officer of WPP Brand & Design while also returning to her role as Global CEO of Landor.
The company said Gerhart is tasked with expanding client relationships
across its integrated offerings and driving the cross-agency collaboration required to do that.
Gerhart is a 23-year WPP veteran, serving primarily on the media side of the business. He most recently
served as Global Chief Client Officer for WPP Media. Earlier he held global leadership positions including Global Chief Client Officer of GroupM and Global CEO of Mindshare.
Bulchandani stated that Gerhart is “a world-renowned agency executive and a fiercely dedicated client leader who is as brilliant in strategy
conversations in New York as he is comfortable executing on the ground in China. There is simply no one better than Adam to represent the best of WPP to our clients.”
