Fallon’s campaign for Georgia Pacific’s Brawny paper towels brand took Best in Show at the 2006 OMMA Awards in New York, in a ceremony that closed MediaPost’s OMMA Conference & Expo. The Brawny campaign, deemed the best out of 57 finalists in 19 categories, also won in the Long-Form Video category. It featured a reality series that brings guys to a “Brawny Academy” for cleaning lessons with the Brawny Man. The award for Creative Breakthrough of the Year went to Royal Caribbean and agencies IQ Interactive and Arnold Worldwide for FreedomoftheSeas, a Web site promoting the cruise line’s new ship.
Separately, Media magazine’s Creative Media Awards honored Mindshare/AOL for the Unilever Dove Calming Night campaign in the Online Media: Branding category.
