Publicis Turns In Strong 4Q, Full Year; Transformed By New Biz, Digitas Deal

Publicis Groupe turned in better than expected results of +6.3% for the fourth quarter and +5.6% for the year in terms of organic growth, and has already gotten off to an exceptional new business pace during the first two months of 2007, winning three plumb accounts: Wal-Mart, Fox and Wendy's. Coupled with the closure of its acquisition of digital and interactive giant Digitas, Publicis is in the midst of a positive expansion and transformation that Chairman-CEO Maurice Levy described as a "new dimension" that will enable the company to "make the most of vigorous demand in interactive communications." Publicis is the parent of Starcom MediaVest Group, ZenithOptimedia Group, Denuo and other leading agencies.
