Hulu Who?

In the 24 hours leading up to this morning's OMMA Video conference in Los Angeles, I've gone through a storyline worthy of a network prime-time series -- at least one worthy of the writer's stroke-ridden schedule, or more likely on YouTube. It began when I was speaking to my best friend early yesterday. We were talking about our favorite, "must-see" network shows, when he told me how disappointed he was to miss the season finale of his favorite, Fox's "24." I said, why not go onto Hulu? He said, "Hulu who?"

I found this striking because he's a media savvy guy, and indirectly in the business. His wife is head of the press department for one of the major networks. So I explained how Hulu was a joint venture of News Corp. and NBC to him. This morning, I went on Hulu courtesy of my Beta account to see if the episode of "24" was there. There were plenty of clips, but only one full episode from this, its sixth season: Episode #4. No luck for Paul.

Next I went to the iTunes store, and sure enough, the season finale and all of this seasons episodes are there for downloading. Good luck for Steve Jobs.
