Topshop, the British fast-fashion retailing phenomenon, is planning a U.S. invasion, reports
Women's Wear Daily.
It had previously announced plans for three stores in
Manhattan, with the first Topshop/Topman scheduled to open in September. But plans are now in the works for a number of other locations as well, including flagships on the West Coast, and other units
in Las Vegas, Miami and Boston.
The company is also eyeing Paris, Milan, and India--and is also considering South Africa, Australia and Brazil. Currently, Topshop has 325 stores in the U.K., and
100 overseas.
