Dell, Best Buy In Deal To Sell Computers

Dell, known for its online direct-to-consumer sales channel, has inked a deal with retailer Best Buy to sell its XPS and Inspiron notebook and desktop computers through more than 900 Best Buy locations in the U.S. in the next few weeks.

Dell says the agreement expands a program that puts products in 10,000 stores worldwide through similar deals with Carrefour in Europe, Staples, Courts in Singapore, Gome in China, Bic Camera in Japan, Carphone Warehouse in the UK and Wal-Mart in the Americas.
