Pfizer Inc. has named Sally Susman senior vice president/worldwide communications and chief communications officer with overall responsibility for Pfizer's global communications, reporting to chairman/CEO Jeff Kindler. She will join Pfizer's Executive Leadership Team.

Susman is a communications executive with wide experience in corporate communications, media relations, marketing and brand strategy and public affairs on a worldwide basis. Since 2000, she has been the senior communications officer at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc., where she directed the communications strategy for the global public corporation and each of its 28 brands.

Prior to joining Estée Lauder, she held high-level communications and government relations posts at the American Express Company.
