Borders Names 360i Interactive AOR

Borders has named 360i as its interactive agency of record, tapping the digital shop for search, display and emerging media responsibilities, among others.

"360i understands our goals, and has the breadth and depth of expertise in retail to bring it all together," said Jessica Harley, vice president of acquisition and retention marketing at Borders.

A fully integrated online strategy will be crucial for Borders moving forward, as the entertainment retailer is set to relaunch its Web site in the coming months, severing its six-year-long established partnership with Amazon.com (a major source of e-commerce traffic and leads).
