Procter & Gamble's Metamucil brand is getting a push from "Desperate Housewives" actress Brenda Strong for a program aimed at touting Metamucil for coronary health, "the Metamucil 30 Day Difference
for heart health."
The Web-based promotion at BeautifyYourHeart.com says taking Metamucil daily lowers cholesterol. The site also lets consumers develop a fitness program and get
nutrition tips.
Visitors can register for "Beautify Your Heart" sweepstakes to win fitness-related daily prizes at the conclusion of the Metamucil 30 Day Difference in April. The grand prize is
a five-day, four-night stay at a spa resort in the city of the winner's choice.
