NHL and DoorDash are entering into a
multiyear partnership across the U.S. and Canada.
DoorDash has signed on as the NHL's exclusive on-demand delivery and pick-up partner beginning with the upcoming 2026-27 NHL
season, and includes game night promotions for fans
The exclusive deal begins immediately and marks DoorDash's first partnership with the NHL.
The partnership
includes a broad set of marketing rights and NHL designations for DoorDash, including use of League marks, broadcast-visible branding through digitally enhanced dasherboards during nationally
televised games, integration across NHL tentpole events such as the Discover NHL Winter Classic and Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series, and a presence throughout the Stanley Cup
Playoffs.
The season kicks off in Canada with a dedicated DoorDash Puck Drop promotion on Sept. 29, the first day of the 2026-27 NHL season, followed by game night deals every
Wednesday and Saturday for the regular season.

DoorDash becomes the presenting sponsor of all Wednesday night regular-season national NHL games and Stanley Cup Playoff games
broadcast on Prime Video in Canada. DoorDash will also activate at the 2026 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic in Winnipeg on Oct. 25 for in-person engagement.
NHL fans are some of
the most active on-demand delivery consumers, says Chris Falkiner, NHL group vice president of business development.
DoorDash aims to help fans spend less time managing meals,
snacks, and last-minute needs, and more time in the moments that make game night matter, says Gina Igwe, vice president of brand, creative, and consumer marketing at DoorDash.
“For tens of millions of hockey fans across North America, every night is appointment viewing,” Igwe says in a release. “In Canada, hockey night is more than a game, it's
a family ritual and a way fandom gets passed from one generation to the next.”
DoorDash will soon announce a new NHL creative platform across North America, in addition to
unveiling additional promotions and sweepstakes for NHL fans -- including a trigger promotion for when NHL games really heat up.
Meanwhile, the NHL and Disney+ have entered into a
five-year agreement. It will bring NHL games to Disney+ customers in Sweden and Finland starting with the 2026/27 season. The games included in the new agreement will stream live on ESPN on Disney+,
with select games also available on Star Channel in Finland.
