Liquid Death Brings Its Attitude To Pet Supplies With Bark Partnership

Liquid Death’s latest collab is literally going to the dogs.

The brand has teamed up with pet supply brand Bark to launch a new spooky-themed collection of toys, beds and apparel for dogs “and the humans who are dead serious about them.”

The brands have created a new character, Ram Chop, a squeaking oversized heavy-metal-loving ram, who serves as the face of the campaign and stars alongside Liquid Death’s Murder Man mascot.

Created with Tombras, the hero spot, seen here, takes place at a small dog’s birthday party. As the dog’s parents sing “Happy Birthday” to him, Ram Chop busts in, destroying the peaceful scene by dumping trash all over (to the delight of the birthday dog). Ram Chop then berates the couple for referring to their 43 yr.-old dog as a “baby.”

“We brought the Liquid Death attitude, Bark brought their insane creativity, and somehow we ended up with a collection that’s even more absurd, and way more fun, than we imagined,” said Misha Brunelli, vice president of merch and apparel, Liquid Death, in a release. “It’s exactly the kind of collaboration we love: unexpected, ridiculous, and something people will actually want.”

The Bark and Liquid Death collection features a Cuddle Coffin, a human-sized coffin bed for both customers and their dogs; the Rest in Treats Coffin, a natural-rubber, treat-dispensing coffin toy; the Dogtor Death Can, a crinkle-filled can toy with a tube squeaker; Marcus the Carcass, a squeaky toy; lastly, the Dead Head Burrow Toy, a multipart skull toy that allows dogs to hunt for treats.

The campaign also includes several shorter videos that run across organic and paid social. Additional activations are planned throughout the month. The collection is available here while supplies last.
