MSFT-YHOO Good for Little Guys

What's going to be the impact of the potential Microsoft Yahoo merger on mobile? Panelists seem to think its going to slow down mobile inroads made by the two giants. "If this thing goes through...it's actually going to confuse Yahoo and Microsoft's mobile strategy," said Barry Chu, GM, advertising for white-label search provider Medio. As the companies focus on integrating their main operations, mobile will get pushed to the side. "It's good for us because it leaves things open for scrappier startups," said Chu. Hey Barry, what about that other company, I think its called Google? Be afraid, be very afraid.
