Interstate Bakeries Corporation, baker of Hostess snack cakes, is running a promotion linked to the March 11 DVD release of "Bee Movie" and offering a summer vacation in New York City as grand prize.

Consumers are invited to go to hostessbeefunny.com to create a script and upload a video acting out their original scripts. Participants are encouraged to perform their scripts in the funniest ways possible utilizing props, family members and friends.

Within 48 hours, videos will be posted to the Web site. Each video will be ranked by a panel of comedy veterans from the "Bee Movie" production team who will evaluate the video submissions on the levels of creativity and comedy. The top 20-scoring videos will be eligible to receive one of nine prizes, also including HP laptop entertainment packages, Sony Handycam high-definition camcorders and TiVo digital video recorders.

A $4 mail in rebate on the "Bee Movie" DVD is also offered with the purchase of two family-sized packages of specially marked Hostess products. --Nina M. Lentini
