A story last week on Whirlpool's suit against Kenwood Limited erroneously stated that KitchenAid had been a division of Maytag. Actually, Whirlpool acquired KitchenAid from The Hobart Corp. in
1986. Whirlpool acquired Maytag and its brands in 2006.
