The 5% Dilution

For all the buzz surrounding the supposedly advanced mobile video infrastructure of certain big Asian markets, the major telecommunications providers still haven't quite figured out how to actually make money with the emerging video platform.

At least that's what Media Contacts Senior Vice President TS Kelly said kicking off a the “David Vs. Goliath” panel at this morning's OMMA Video conference. Noting that only 5% of Korea Telecom's subscribers currently buy video services, Kelly pointed out,

“Even the huge telecoms in that market aren't able to monetize video services.”
