Super Bowl Sells 80% Inventory, $3 Mil Per Spot

NBC will broadcast Super Bowl XLIII next year, but the network has already has sold more than 80% of its available ad inventory, according to Seth Winter, senior vice president, NBC Sports and Olympics sales and marketing, reports Ad Age. About a dozen or so advertisers, per Winter, paid around $3 million for a 30-second spot.
