TikTok is furthering its efforts to promote travel-centric offerings by
launching a new way for users in the United States to discover and book hotels, attractions, tours, and other local services directly within their main feeds.
“TikTok Go” is a new
app feature designed to help connect U.S. users with the businesses behind places and experiences showcased within the short-form video feed.
“Whether planning a weekend trip, looking
for something to do nearby, or following a creator recommendation, people can explore and book in just a few taps,” the company's announcement explains.
Per the initiative, U.S. users 18
years and older will start to see brands and local businesses promoted in TikTok videos, search, and location pages, with the added option to view details, check availability, and complete bookings
without leaving the app.

TikTok Go currently features popular travel brands such as Booking.com, Expedia, Viator, GetYourGuide, Tiqets, and Trip.com, as well as local merchants and creators
trying to reach new audiences and boost bookings.
“Creators who feature hotels, attractions, and local services can connect their content directly to bookings,” the announcement
says, “with opportunities to earn through commissions and creator campaigns.”
TikTok Go builds off of previous travel promotion initiatives, including an in-app hospitality monetization program launched last year for creators. The
company also recently introduced AI-powered “Travel Ads”, a
catalog-based ad format designed to enable travel brands to automatically promote their hotels, flights, and destinations.
